Join the Pikes Peak Nature Journaling Club on Sunday, May 4th at 10 AM for a relaxed and inspiring outing at the beautiful Crystal Creek Reservoir— we will meet by the wooden bigfoot statue then take a stroll down to the shoreline to journal.
Whether you're a seasoned sketcher, a curious beginner, or just looking to unwind in nature, this is the perfect opportunity to tap into your creativity, observe the world around you, and connect with a welcoming community of fellow nature lovers.

- Your favorite journaling supplies (sketchbook, pens, watercolors, etc.)
- Plenty of water, snacks or lunch
- Sunglasses, sunscreen, and a hat
- A picnic blanket or camp chair if you prefer to sit while journaling
- Sturdy hiking shoes (the area is not stroller-friendly)

Please arrive at the Pikes Peak Gateway no later than 9:45 AM to ensure enough time for entry and travel up the scenic highway.
No reservation needed! Just let the ranger at the gate know you're attending the Nature Journaling event at Crystal, and you’ll receive a reduced toll of $5 per adult. Kids under 16 join for free.
