Families are invited to experience the magic of the holidays at the 4th annual Rocky Ram’s Holiday Spectacular on Saturday, Nov. 15 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Crystal Gift Shop, mile 6 on the Pikes Peak Highway. This free, family-friendly celebration promises a festive day of fun, games, and holiday cheer in one of Colorado’s most scenic settings.
Visitors can take in stunning mountain views while enjoying photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus, face painting, games, and a Touch-a-Truck experience with Pikes Peak – America’s Mountain rangers. Kids can write and mail their wish lists at the “Letters to Santa” station, sip complimentary hot chocolate and cider, and learn about forest health and fire mitigation during interactive ranger talks. In a partnership with the United States Forest Service Pikes Peak Ranger District, attendees can also take home a freshly cut Christmas tree, harvested during fire fuels mitigation work on the mountain.
“The Holiday Spectacular is one of our favorite ways to celebrate the season and thank the community for supporting Pikes Peak – America’s Mountain,” said Skyler Rorabaugh, manager of Pikes Peak – America’s Mountain. “It’s a fun, relaxed way for families to make memories together in an unforgettable place, snow or shine.”
The event will take place regardless of weather conditions, and attendees are encouraged to dress warmly and prepare for possible mountain snow. Regular Pikes Peak Highway entry fees will be waived for this special community celebration.
