1. On 03/09/2021, Title II ADA / Section 504 Coordinator(s) from the Office of Accessibility performed a Title II - Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Self-Evaluation. This evaluation was performed in accordance with 1991/2010 ADA Standards for Accessible Design.
2. Priorities for removing barriers are assigned in accordance with the ADA Checklist for Existing Facilities, promulgated by the ADA National Network. The checklist follows the four priorities listed in the Department of Justice ADA Title III regulations. These priorities are equally applicable to state and local government facilities:
Priority 1 - Accessible approach and entrance
Priority 2 - Access to goods and services
Priority 3 - Access to public toilet rooms
Priority 4 - Access to other items such as water fountains and public telephones
3. Corrective actions to findings were / will be submitted to the City maintenance work request system and will be managed in accordance with the City Transition Plan. Note: Recommended corrections may be modified where appropriate. Corrections are developed in consideration of the “Program Access” provisions of Title II, where applicable.

Recommendation:
Reconstruct and restripe the parking since we have 14' or more of public right of way. We will need to bring in the curb line for the parking space.

Further, the amenity zone is extremely cluttered. If there is no access aisle the amenity zone must be free of objects. The access aisle doesn't lead to an accessible route. People must go in the roadway to reach the curb ramp.

Recommendation:

As Built:
America the Beautiful Monument is a viewing/turn area with a 5.1% cross slope in front of the left leaf, up to a 3.3% cross slope in front of the center, and up to 3% cross slope in front of the right leaf in stamped concrete. In the concrete, immediately behind and adjacent to the stamped concrete, the slopes are 3.9, 4.3, and 5.4% respectively.
Recommendation:
Replace the regular concrete portion to 2% maximum. If the viewing range due to character size is too small from that area we will need to replace the stamped concrete.
