When the slope in the direction of travel of any walk exceeds 1 unit vertical in 20 units horizontal (5-percent slope), it must be constructed as a ramp. Surface cross slopes must not exceed 1 unit vertical in 48 units horizontal (2-percent slope).

As Built:
The route that leads from the sidewalk on Boggs up to the circular seating area near the school front doors, has nine pads of concrete with high cross slope and/or high running slope. Cross slope measures as high as 6.6% while running slope is as high as 9.4%.
Recommendation:
Explore removing and re-routing the path in order to obtain a compliant running slope.
