Please note: Construction is currently underway to replace the playground structure at Rampart Community Park. The playground area will be closed until fall 2025.
Overview
This summer, the Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services Department (PRCS) will be working to enhance the existing playground structure at Rampart Community Park in northeast Colorado Springs. These improvements aim to create an engaging environment for all ages and abilities, making the park a more inviting space and accessible for everyone in the community.
Key features of the renovation include:
- The installation of a new play structure
- Installation of artificial turn for increased accessibility and a safe, enjoyable surface for children of all abilities
- Concrete and drainage work to enhance the overall functionality of the area
More details on the types of play equipment and the full scope of these enhancements will be available soon.

We would like to thank the residents who came to the neighborhood meeting in May to help select the playground theme and design.
