Fire Board of Appeals
The responsibilities of the Fire Board of Appeals include: Making and adopting supplemental rules and regulations, Granting variances to the Fire Prevention Code and determining the suitability of alternate materials and types of construction, Reviewing all Fire Department administrative regulations and policies related to the enforcement/interpretation of the Fire Code
- Meeting Time – Every 2nd Friday of each month at 8:30 a.m.
- Vacancy – One (1) Voting member for an owner or representative of a large business in manufacturing or sales

Lodgers and Automobile Rental Tax (LART) Citizens' Advisory Committee
The committee advises the City Council on spending revenues generated by the Lodgers and Automobile Rental Tax, helping shape Colorado Springs's future. The committee meets monthly on the 2nd Thursday at 2 p.m.
- Meeting Times – Monthly, every 2nd Thursday of the month at 2 p.m.
- Vacancy – One (1) Ex-Officio Position Representing the Sports Industry
- Eligibility Requirements: Sports representative must work in sports industry.

Stormwater Advisory Committee
Provides citizen input to City Council on the stormwater system and enterprise operations. The Committee also advises and makes recommendations on projects to be undertaken
- Meeting Time – Quarterly, every third Thursday of the month at 2 p.m.
- Vacancy – One (1) Resident and One (1) Nonprofit representative
