Bike to Work Day is Wednesday, June 25, 2025! Bike commuters can enjoy a FREE breakfast at stations on the trail system and at local businesses.
What is Bike to Work Day?
Bike to Work Day encourages bicycling for personal and community health, alternative transportation, recreation, and sustainability.
Breakfast locations along the trail network are designed to support how people ride their bikes to work while highlighting local businesses that support bicycling in the community. Breakfast stations are first-come, first-served.
Bike Valet
Bike Valet from Mountain Metro Transit is FREE for City sponsored events. The bike racks are portable, light, and easy to set up.

Bicycle organizations around Colorado Springs are graciously hosting free bicycle clinics throughout May and June to help prepare you and yours for increased two-wheel travel this year! Details about dates, registration, accessibility, and capacity coming soon!

Bike Fit Basics hosted by ProCycling

From short commutes to 100 mile rides, a good bike fit can help you pedal with much more comfort and efficiency. It can also help prevent injuries and reduce some of the post ride soreness, aches, and pain.
Our professional bike fitters at ProCycling will demonstrate some simple, at-home techniques you can use to set up your bike for commuting and for longer rides. The bike set-up tips will apply to a wide variety of bike styles including road, mountain, hybrid, and e-bikes.

Bristol Brewing Company's Beers & Gear Expo

Join Bike to Work Day at Bristol's Beers & Gears Expo on May 31st!
Come out for an outdoor expo and equipment market in our beer garden. The goal is to promote community, environmental education, and gearing up for an active Colorado summer. We’ll have a wide range of networking groups, nonprofits, and businesses specializing in running, climbing, hiking, biking, fishing, water sports, wildlife, and all things outdoor. Not to mention we’ll have a mobile rock-climbing wall, a bike maintenance station, survival education and demonstrations from The Survival University’s Jason Marsteiner, and a free showing of the Ritual Mountain Bike Film in the Ivywild Gym after the expo. Join the adventure starting at 2pm!
Get Outdoors Day

Hosted by Colorado Parks and Wildlife, the City of Colorado Springs, and Pikes Peak Outdoor Recreation Alliance, Get Outdoors Day is an annual event for kids and families to engage with vendors and learn about ways to explore our great outdoors. The annual event is held the first Saturday in June at Memorial Park/Prospect Lake. Get Outdoors Day features a variety of outdoor businesses and nonprofit agencies ready to introduce kids and their families to outdoor activities suck as biking, kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, fly fishing, spin fishing, mapping, shooting, and more!
Papas and Popcorn: A Father's Day Movie in the Park

Put the “Pop” in popcorn! Bring out your dad, father figures, and family to celebrate Father’s Day at Deerfield Park with a movie, games, and food trucks! We'll be watching "A Goofy Movie" at the Deerfield Hills Community Center.
Trail construction
Colorado Springs Trails are moving forward with greater connectivity and updated infrastructure, and this much needed progress may temporarily alter the cycling commute. Please, take note of any closures and take care:
- Sinton Trail under I-25 is under construction and will be open for Bike to Work
