The City of Colorado Springs is currently updating the Drainage Criteria Manual (DCM).  Drafts will be posted on this website as they become available.  To be informed when drafts are available for public comment, send an email to StormwaterCriteria@coloradosprings.gov requesting to sign up for notifications.

The DCM update is intended to clarify requirements related to the City’s various regulatory obligations, including the City of Colorado Springs Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) Permit (COS000004), the stormwater Consent Decree (ECF #181, Case 1:16-cv-02745-JLK USA et al v. City of Colorado Springs), and the 2016 Intergovernmental Agreement with Pueblo County.  The update will also incorporate or supersede all existing stormwater Policy Clarifications.

Chapters will be updated individually, with old chapters removed as new chapters are implemented.  The following table provides a draft chapter outline for the manual update:
