About the Mayor's Cup

The Mayor's Cup was initiated in 2012 under Mayor Steve Bach, and Mayor Yemi has continued the tradition. Since its inception, the tournament has raised more than $700,000 with net proceeds going back to the community. In 2022, a Spirit of the Springs endowment was established to build upon the success of the charity tournament and ensure future revenue for Spirit of the Springs’ initiatives.

Past tournaments have benefited:

  • First Tee of Southern Colorado, local nonprofit dedicated to serving youth through programs that build character, instill life-enhancing values, and promote healthy choices through the game of golf.
  • Pikes Peak State College to provide scholarships to students who are pursuing careers in public safety.
  • Spirit of the Springs initiatives that celebrate and connect our community.
