City snow crews are continuing a full callout for snow removal operations citywide and are currently working to clear primary roadways. Based on current weather and the forecast, crews expect to address secondary roads in earnest starting around noon. This is weather dependent. Residential roads will be addressed once primary and secondary roads are cleared.
Road conditions are snow packed and material is being applied to allow for additional snowmelt. City officials ask that drivers use caution around working snowplows, allow plenty of room to pass and maintain a safe distance as crews have limited visibility.
The public is encouraged to stay at home and monitor weather conditions.
City Communications will continue to update the media and post current information on ColoradoSprings.gov.
