The City of Colorado Springs plans to start a project to repair a retaining wall in the Pikes Peak parking lot in Old Colorado City on Monday, Feb. 17, closing a part of that lot.

The parking lot project--east of Colorado Avenue, between 25th and 26th Streets—impacts 34 parking spaces in the Pikes Peak lot. The work should be done by the start of Territory Days, which occurs Memorial Day weekend in Old Colorado City.

Alternate parking locations during construction:

  • East side of Pikes Peak lot
  • Cucharras Lot (2422 W. Cucharras Street)
  • Colorado Alley Lot (2617 W. Colorado Avenue)

More parking information at coloradosprings.gov/parking.

People with concerns during the project should reach out to the City Engineering at City.Engineering@coloradosprings.govor via phone at (719) 385-5918.
