Airport Advisory Commission
The Airport Advisory Commission’s purpose is to render advice concerning the airport master plan, its implementation, updating or changes, and shall review and make recommendations concerning long range planning for the airport to the Mayor, the City Council and the City Planning Commission.
- Meeting Time – 4th Wednesday of every month at 3 p.m.
- Vacancy – Voting Member(s)
Civil Service Commission
Oversees, with approval by City Council, the rules for the classification of civil service employees in the police and fire departments and rules pertaining to the processes and criteria for initial employment and promotion of such employees.
- Meetings – 1st Tuesday of every other month at 8:30 a.m.
- Vacancy – One (1) Citizen-At-Large
Independent Ethics Commission
The Independent Ethics Commission (IEC) was created by the City of Colorado Springs and is charged with implementation of the City’s Code of Ethics for certain covered persons. Renders written recommendations to City Council on ethics complaints and issues written advisory opinions in response to inquiries.

Law Enforcement Transparency and Advisory Commission (LETAC)
Advises and recommends areas and topics of study related to police operations, best practices, and resource allocation; solicits public input; and promotes improved relationships between the community and the Police Department.
- Meeting Time – 1st Monday of every month at 6 p.m.

Stormwater Advisory Committee
Provides citizen input to City Council on the stormwater system and enterprise operations. The Committee also advises and makes recommendations on projects to be undertaken
- Meeting Time – Quarterly, every third Thursday of the month at 2 p.m.
- Vacancy – One (1) Nonprofit representative
