Following a summer break, the Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum (CSPM) will resume its 2025 lecture series on Saturday, Aug. 9 featuring Ted Conover, author of several award-winning books including Newjack: Guarding Sing Sing (winner of the National Book Critics Circle Award and a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize) and Rolling Nowhere: Riding the Rails with America's Hoboes, will present Cheap Land Colorado: Off-Gridders of the San Luis Valley in the CSPM’s Division I Courtroom.

CSPM’s lecture series includes a wide range of speakers offering diverse perspectives and unique insights on Pikes Peak regional history. These events are free and open to the public, but reservations are required at CSPM.org/LectureSeries
