Memorial Park basketball courts are in the process of a renovation thanks to Hillside Connection and their grant award from Every Court has a Story.
Founder of Hillside Connection, Terrell Brown is on a mission to leverage the game of basketball to create pathways to opportunities for kids in southern Colorado Springs by providing quality, accessible sports and enrichment programs for all the youth in our community - with no barriers.
The renovation includes resurfacing, new backboards, upgraded hoops, and player benches. These improvements will not only enhance the playing experience but also create a welcoming and safe environment for all participants.
Project partners, including Project Backboard, 5 Star basketball, and Hillside Connection, have collaborated to make this renovation project a success. Through their collective efforts and dedication, the Memorial Park basketball courts will be transformed into a vibrant and inviting space for residents of all ages to enjoy in the heart of Olympic City USA.
