July is Park and Recreation Month!

Colorado Springs is stronger, more vibrant, and more resilient because of parks and recreation services and we’re excited to show it during National Park and Recreation Month.

This year's theme — “Build Together. Play Together”— celebrates the many ways park and recreation professionals make lasting impacts in communities across the country. Check out ways to get involved this month at the link above!

Good neighbors play together!

We are better together. That’s why the 1,000 Neighborhood Gatherings community campaign is back for 2025, as Colorado Springs continues to build a city of great neighbors and neighborhoods. This July, we’re challenging residents to host or attend a gathering at each of the 162 neighborhood parks in Colorado Springs.
