Goodwill of Colorado’s CW STEP (Colorado Works Subsidized Training & Employment Program) offers job training, placement and support services for individuals with financial challenges and barriers to employment. We provide paid on-the-job experience, vocational coaching and skills training, and other specialized support services. Those successfully completing the program can receive permanent job placement earning living wages with employers/ industries facing staffing shortages.
Mt. Carmel Veterans Service Center Transition and Employment
The Transition & Employment Team at Mt. Carmel has a collective goal of assisting veterans and their family members to gain meaningful employment. Based on your specific situation, you will get one-on-one assistance by a peer navigator counselor that has been in a situation very similar to yours. You will have the support of the entire team and access to all of Mt. Carmel’s wrap-around services. Our team helps you determine your career goals, develop a resume, practice interviewing techniques, identify and network for jobs. We also host quarterly job fairs, networking events 6 times a year, ad hoc employer days, civilian and federal resume classes, LinkedIn 101, and job search skills workshops.
