The Deerfield Hills Community Center continues its tradition of offering a positive and safe environment for children of all ages. The wide array of program opportunities and community services, along with a dynamic center staff, make this a well-utilized neighborhood resource. Deerfield Hills offers a variety of summer activities. Check out the Sprayground to stay cool during the summer months.

Wednesdays - Active Agers!

• 10-11:30 a.m.
• Open to seniors and adults.
• Coffee, refreshments, various activities each week. Walking group for those interested at 11:30 a.m.

February 19, 2025 - Deerfield Mobile Food Market

• 2-3 p.m.
• Choice pantry open to everyone, on a first come first serve basis.  Numbers passed out beginning one hour before, please bring your own bags.

February 20, 2025-Chair Yoga

• 9-10 a.m.
• Free and open to all adults, program appropriate for all skill levels.
• Waiver required and available on site.

February 22, 2025-Black Voices Matter Open Mic-Presented by Poetry 719, featuring Jordan Burke

• 3-5 p.m. 
  • 3-3:30 p.m. Open Mic Story Time (Bring a children’s book to share on the mic and donate to the center.)
  • 3:45-5 p.m. Workshop & BVM Open Mic

• Drive through food distribution open to everyone.  Call for details on how to make an appointment.

March 16, 2025-Community Playgroup

• 10-11 a.m.
• Open to children 0-5 with a caregiver.  Art, music, and sensory activities exploring nature with outdoor play. *Held indoors if weather conditions warrant. 

March 19, 2025-Deerfield Mobile Food Market
