About

The Deerfield Hills Community Center continues its tradition of offering a positive and safe environment for children of all ages. The wide array of program opportunities and community services, along with a dynamic center staff, make this a well-utilized neighborhood resource. Deerfield Hills offers a variety of summer activities. Check out the Sprayground to stay cool during the summer months.

Tuesdays & Thursdays - Active Adults 55+

• 9-10 a.m.
• Open to all adults 55+
• Various exercise and movement activities each week, followed by a walk (weather permitting)

October 15, 2025 - Artsy Adults 55+

• 10 a.m.-12 p.m.
• Open to all adults 55+.  All skill levels welcome, all materials provided.

October 17, 2025 - Halloween Costume Exchange

• 4-7 p.m.
• Free and open to everyone.  Children must be accompanied by an adult.
• Family friendly games, activities, resource booths, bounce house, pumpkin patch, and costume pick up.

October 21, 2025 - Community Playgroup

• 10:00-11:00 a.m.
• Open to all children 0-5 years old with a caregiver.  Activities and light snacks are provided.

October 22, 2025 - Artsy Escapes

• 10 am-12 pm
• Join us for arts, crafts, and games. 
• Free and open to all adults.  All skill levels welcome, all materials provided.
• Limited seats available, please register or call to reserve your spot.

October 23, 2025 - Wellness Waggin’ Pet Vaccine Clinic 

• 9:00-4:30 p.m.
• Hosted by the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region. Low cost and some free vaccines (thanks to Petco Love) are available along with other services.
• Appointments required.

October 23, 2025 - Dance Your Stories 

• 10-11 a.m.
• Hosted by Ormao Dance Studio. Free and open to seniors 55+. All skill levels welcome, no dance experience needed.

October 24, 2025 - Mobile Food Pantry

• 11:30-1:30 p.m.
• Free and open to everyone. Appointments required, call the center for more details. 

October 24, 2025 - Trunk or Treat at the Family Success Center (1520 Verde Drive, 80910)

• 4:00-7:00 p.m.
• Free family friendly event. Games, vendors, Trunk or Treat, which means candy and more!
