About

The Deerfield Hills Community Center continues its tradition of offering a positive and safe environment for children of all ages. The wide array of program opportunities and community services, along with a dynamic center staff, make this a well-utilized neighborhood resource. Deerfield Hills offers a variety of summer activities. Check out the Sprayground to stay cool during the summer months.

Tuesdays & Thursdays - Active Adults 55+

  • 9-10 a.m.
  • Open to all adults 55+
  • Various exercise and movement activities each week, followed by a walk (weather permitting)

September 2 - October 10, 2025 - Halloween Costume Exchange Drop Off

  • Accepting new and gently used costumes.
  • Drop off at Deerfield Hills Community Center, 4290 Deerfield Hills Rd, 80916 during business hours Mon-Fri, 9-5 pm
  • Please label with costume name and size.

September 3,  2025-Artsy Adults

  • 10:00-12:00 pm
  • Open to all adults 55+.  Various arts and craft activities, all supplies provided.  All skill levels welcome
  • Limited seats available, please call to reserve your spot.  719-385-5996

September 16, 2025-Community Playgroup

  • 10-11 a.m.
  • Open to all children 0-5 years old with a caregiver. Activities and light snacks provide.

September 17, 2025-Artsy Adults

  • 10:00-12:00 p.m.
  • Open to all adults 55+.   Various arts and craft activities, all supplies provided.  All skill levels welcome

September 26, 2025-Mobile Food Pantry

  • 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
  • Free and open to everyone.  Appointment required, call the center for more details.

September 27, 2025-Saturday Science Carnival Field Trip

  • 9:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m.
  • Open to all elementary age students (5-11)
  • Round trip Transportation provided from the center if needed.
