Due to winter weather conditions, City of Colorado Springs administrative offices will close today, Wednesday, Dec. 3, at 1 p.m. Essential City personnel and emergency responders will continue to work normal schedules.
The Colorado Springs Municipal Court will be closed for afternoon court. Once the court reopens, individuals should call 719-385-5928 or visit the court in person to reschedule.
Mountain Metropolitan Transit is operating at full service today, though riders should expect some detours and delays. Service updates will be posted on MMT social media channels.
Several City parks are closed to vehicle traffic, including Garden of the Gods, North Cheyenne Cañon and Palmer Park.
The Public Works Operations & Maintenance Division is continuing to clear primary and secondary routes as the snow continues to fall. Drivers should plan extra time to safely reach their destination and use caution around working snowplows, allow plenty of room to pass, and maintain a safe distance as crews have limited visibility.
