Initial results of the 2025 General Municipal Election will be released on Tuesday, April 1 at approximately 7:15 p.m. via the city’s website, ColoradoSprings.gov. Regular updates will be provided throughout the evening. Media are welcome to get footage of volunteers (known as “ballot box closers”) on April 1, between 7–8 p.m., bringing the last ballots into the City Administration Building, 30 S. Nevada Ave.

Elected positions on the ballot include the six district City Council seats. Each voters’ ballot contains only the District City Council race for their area of town based on the current City Council District Boundary lines.

Every day the City Clerk updates an interactive, online voter turnout map by city council district and by individual voting precinct. The map can be found at ColoradoSprings.gov/Election.

For the first time, the City is providing residents with a tool allowing them to virtually track the status of their ballot. By providing their full name, birthdate and zip code, residents can see if their ballot has been mailed or if their vote has been received. Residents can register and vote up to election day. The ballot tracker, ballot drop-off locations and additional information can be found at ColoradoSprings.gov/VoterInfo

Residents should remember to sign their ballot envelopes before turning them in. If residents do not receive a ballot or have questions about the election, contact the City Clerk’s office at 719-385-5901 or email to elections@coloradosprings.gov.
