Dublin Boulevard will close from east of Fieler Drive to Mustang Rim Drive starting at 7 p.m. on Monday, June 16 through late September, weather permitting. A full road closure is expected to shorten the overall construction schedule.
The start of the Dublin Boulevard full closure, originally announced in May, was delayed several weeks due to mitigation of an underground spring.
The intersection of Dublin Boulevard and Peterson Road will close, with access limited to Fire Station 21 by authorized personnel only. Mustang Rim Drive will also close north of Dublin Road to Chickasaw Way, but Mustang Rim Drive south of Dublin Road will remain open.
During the summer, access to Pioneer Technology and Arts Academy (PTAA) will be available only from the south, via the Peterson Road / Hawk Wind Boulevard intersection. More information will follow regarding school traffic patterns for the beginning of the school year.
Several detour routes will be signed, and alternate routes are advised. The primary detour route is Tutt Boulevard to Stetson Hills Boulevard to Peterson Road to Issaquah Drive south of Dublin Boulevard. A secondary eastbound Dublin Boulevard detour will direct traffic left on Black Forest Road, left on Wolf Ridge Road, left on Templeton Gap Road, right on Tutt Boulevard, right on Woodmen Road and right on Marksheffel Road.
