City Council is seeking to fill three voting seats on the Public Art Commission of the Pikes Peak Region. This Commission is charged with acting in an advisory capacity to evaluate, advocate, stimulate, and facilitate matters of public art and culture. Applications can be found at ColoradoSprings.gov/boards and are due by Friday, May 19.

Avelo Airlines has begun service from the Colorado Springs Airport (COS) with exclusive nonstop service to Los Angeles. In the month of March, the Colorado Springs Airport (COS) saw a total of 163,695 passengers travel through the terminal, with 82,742 of those passengers enplaning at COS.

The North Slope Recreation Area along the Pikes Peak Highway is now open. This includes the North and South Catamount reservoirs along with Crystal Creek Reservoir, which had previously been closed for more than three seasons due to a Colorado Springs Utilities maintenance and repair project.
